I would say no if I was GM of Buffalo. A player like Dahlin is much harder to find than a player like Marner. Plus you have to factor in the terrible contract Marner has.

I just don’t think marner is a premium asset. That contract just isn’t appealing.

I agree. Marner's contract and being a winger brings his trade value down substantially.

No. When all is said and done, I believe Dahlin will be the far better player
