You're giving up way too much in the Wild trade.

At this point, with the reports that Hallander isn't coming over again this year, combined with his declining stats.... I don't see him as the asset he was once thought to be. POJ has slowly declined as well.

A 2 time ( potential 3 time) Stanley Cup winning goalie doesn't equate to a guy who has played what, 4 NHL games?

a .899 sv% goalie about to ask for a massive raise in a goalie flooded market does not equate to a top end expansion exempt defense prospect.

Ask nicely and MN might give you Lodnia for free. They are paying him to not play for the organization for the 2nd year in a row.

Dub might have been the worst goalie in the league last year and has been on a steady decline for the last couple of seasons.

Well, Lodinia isn't being paid at all since he isn't a pro player....You do understand how the contracts work right? Dub's would be a back-up and his stat's have declined commensurately with the decline of the team in general.

Top end is questionable considering his health/durabilty questions.

None of his injuries are related so no. Hasn't Letang had an injury riddled career his entire time in Pittsburgh yet is still considered a top end defense? none permanent Injuries don't take away the potential and skill level of a prospect.

And his stats have declined since he was drafted, what are you missing? I'm not saying he's a swing and a miss but the team has other deficiencies that need more attention right now.

He trashed his ACL LAST YEAR (12 plus months at this point and to the point that he won't be playing for them this playoff year) so yeah, health and durability is a question.

He had 3 less points in 13 less games than last year lol (Hallander) he also went up 10% in CF% and was 3rd on his team (~8th last year, and his team this year was way better) and POJ struggled a lot to adjust to the AHL, when I watched him in the beginning of the year he looked terrible and completely out of place, but by the end of the year he was able to bring his stats up at least, to noticeably above average league wide

He is literally in Edmonton on the Flames roster, he likely won't be playing because he's been off for a year, Flames acquired 2 defense at the deadline, and he is expansion exempt if he doesn't. He was one of the most noticeable players at Training Camp.

Flames didn't move him for Stone, they aren't moving him for an under performing goalie.

So both players, PRIZED by the Pens, have played to average or slightly above?

Murray would be heads and above the best goalie that Calgary has ever seen in their own net. Kipper came there late and still decided to leave early.

for a project undersized player in his first pro year, yeah I'd say that's decent, and compared to other players his age Hallander is far far above average, and had the third best CF% on one of the best teams in his league (also against mostly fully developed men)

If a 20 year old at 6'2 and 190 is undersized and not considered a fully developed man, WTF are we talking about?

he was 162 going into the year (was like 180 at the lock down, and yes, players do get better after the age of 20, who would have known)
