EK is one of the best offensive D ever. Letang is not in the same league as him and even at his best wasn’t in EK’s league. Krug is a hell of a player and he can cover for EK. No one outside of Pittsburgh sees Letang as a top tier D anymore

Lmao what are you talking about? This isn't the same EK anymore. Letang had 15 goals this year, and EK has had 18 goals the past 3 years combined. And his contract is farrrrrrrrr worse than Letangs. Having 2 OD on the 1st pair is not a good move. Theres a reason why teams dont do it.

Ya that’s a terrible argument going to an NHL too 10 lost LOL. Tanger is not in EK’s league and never has been. EK never played most of his shifts with anywhere forwards near the level of Sid and Geno. If Ek spent his career with us like Tanger did he would have absolutely insane numbers

Prime Letang wasn’t in Prime Ek’s league I agree. No D was to be honest. He was a cut above the rest. Based off the last two years though I’d rather have Letang

EK is on a bad team and has not spent his career playing with 87 and 71. EK is a better player on a worse team
