Carolina reject because cap

Dallas reject because LOL Bracco

Both NYR and TOR reject because it's a pointless move. Sandin was a rookie, and Lundkvist hasn't played an NHL game yet. There's no point in making that trade until you've seen what you have in the players you've got

Just look at Swden U20. Sandin was given more ice time, scored 2 more goals, and had a better +/-. Hell, he even won defensemen of the tournament.

What's the issue with Bracco? As a Stars fan, I'm genuinely curious. From a statistical standpoint it looks like he's played well enough at the AHL level that he should have at least gotten a look at the NHL level. What am I missing with him?

Lundkvist is the real deal. Everyone pining over the Lindgren + Fox pairing this year, just wait until Miller and Lundkvist in a couple years.

Both teams decline. Doesnt move the needle for either team positively. Rangers currently need Lhd, but will need a Rhd next year when Lunkvist is ready becuase they cant afford the money to TDA and fox in 2 years. Sandin is the best young (potential to be top pairing) def toronto has.

He's still in the AHL at his age when the Leafs have had a ton of forward injuries. They've seen Trevor Moore, Pierre Engvall, Dmytro Timashov etc all come up over him. There's clearly a red flag there.
