That’s a terrible trade

Replace Kulak with Tatar or Gallagher.

Nurse gets you Nylander or similar, for Domi I’d say a package around AA... I’d like to get Domi for sure!

Also with Russell’s contract, I don’t think he has negative value... lots of cap floor potential & low budget teams need a solid 3rd pairing dman

Huge no on habs trade giving up way too much for domi. I’d be more interested in Tatar,Drouin, gally instead of domi anyways. Ottawa trade is just foolish including a decent defender and the better pick. Nothing about that makes sense russell DOES NOT have negative value.

Yah no thanks. I wouldn’t give that much for Domi. Honestly Nurse could get you more, and I’m super high on Puljujarvi especially that he said that he may come and play for us.

You mean replace Domi with Tatar or Gallagher? Maybe Gallagher wants to go to his hometown...

This is a fair trade. Oilers fans above thinking they could get Nylander or something more elite for Nurse need to rtealize that he is onyl a top 4 dman, not a top pairing one

Actually read below before you ink Puljujarvi to an Oilers contract. Took this from a story on Hockey writers but as you can see it was Elliot Friedman who broke the story.

Puljujarvi and Oilers Apparently Have Different Views

Friedman relayed that he’d heard the Oilers believed a signing with Jesse Puljujarvi was close but Puljujarvi didn’t think so. Friedman added that there is talk the Oilers were looking to sign him to make it easier to trade him but that Puljujarvi was trying to get control over the situation and have some say as to where he might end up.

Friedman believes a trade is still possible which is a stark difference from the reports that the two sides were mending the relationship last week.

Well Puljujarvi said never say never to Edmonton, and he will give them a chance.

Honestly as a Habs fan I would trade Drouin before trading Domi. Maybe Edmonton considers a one for one Drouin for Nurse. Playing with either McDavid or Draisaitl will increase Drouin's production for sure. As a habs fan I'm just fed up of seeing his face every night. Watching him play makes me so mad.

He did but according to Friedman they are still miles apart on a deal. Which suggests that Puljujarvi may not be furious anymore but he is still not over it

Or could it just as easily he is very interested in returning to nhl but he’s not interested in making any commitments until next season schedule is released? Friedman is just doing his job but he didn’t offer one bit of details as to what the hold up or problem is. Seems like he has next to no insiders info about this one other than pointing out the obvious a deal has yet to be signed possible trade candidate.... no kidding tips haha. Reality is he doesn’t even have a clue just trying to fill out his 31 thoughts.

This sounds like wishful thinking from an Oilers fan. I get it though, no one wants to lose a good young prospect like that because of a former GM and coach. I honestly hope that the fences can be mended but if it was me I would be hard pressed to play for the Oilers ever again even if I did put my anger behind me and move on.
