Good, I'm not the only one who hate Armia in this post season, I rather see Ylonen next year than Lazy but skilled Armia
Why is he so lazy ? He got the tools to be a top6 RW, but no, he doesn't skate, doesn't try, just being lazy … f*ck

He looks out of shape, plays with no heart. He has hands but can't finish to save his life

Genuine question, why do you want to trade 2 of your top 3 scorers in the regular season?

Fleury should stay, he's our best RD prospect, and seemed very reliable for a kid at the start of the season.
I would personnaly keep Evans. He will be a great cheap 4th center for many years, and we won't have to resign guys like Thompson every year to fill that role.
Moving Chariot is a bad move period.
I wonder why Armia is so bad in these playoffs. He's build for postseason, and was great in the season. A mystery, but we must add some size to our lineup if we trade him.

He's definetly injured. Have you seen his answer to the journalist after today's game? It meant a lot.

First, Fleury isn't the best RHD prospect, he's the one with the lower potential. Brook have the highest potential, after Juulsen and then Fleury. Juulsen is NHL ready, but because of is injuries, we dont know if he still have top4 potential. Fleury is almost NHL ready, but I only can see him being a #5 dman at best. Finally, Brook is the offensive defenseman with the higher ceiling, but the chance he become a top4 dman is lower than Fleury becoming a #5 dman. Brook need at least 2 years in the AHL before considering playing him in the NHL
Second, he doesn't want to trade them, he list them on who's untouchable, overpaid, fair trade and I dont want them back next year
3rd, Armia looks out of shape

I'm not saying we should move them for bags of pucks. Some aren't just part of our core moving forward (Tatar) & some are just replaceable and could realistically be moved for a reasonable price.

I gotta disagree here.

Sure he didn't look great but neither did most players. They were playing a really good team. That's just who he is. If he was more consistent we would never have gotten him in the first place. He's just a good middle 6 player who wins puck battles better than just about anyone when on his game and fine bottom 6 when off.

I'd much rather have his ability to win a game while not costing much over a guy like Weise or Weal in the bottom 6.

My main concern about him is that he's seeing top 6 ice time, which wouldn't be the case on most teams. He'll get paid based on his top 6 production and is a UFA. I don't see him being part of the future so I wouldn't mind if he is traded at the deadline in case we miss the playoffs

Sure, but why he doesn't have what Gallagher or Lehkonen brings, more guts. He could be soo good, it pisses me off that he's that inconsistant

That gave me an idea.

If you could give one player on the team 1 attribute from another what would it be ?

I would be torn between giving Armia's size to Gallagher or giving Mete's skating to Weber.

A fast Weber would be unfair lol. Also, Gallagher shoots on the goalie's chest 9 times a night so I'd give Caufield's shot

😂 So you'd want him to score 60 goals a year I see. Solid choice.

I honestly think the biggest issue with Drouin is mostly his hockey IQ.

A guy like Suzuki always seems to have the puck find him in space and then he always tries to challenge defenders to create more space. Drouin just seems constantly lost and out of plays, and when he does get the puck he rarely seems to create problems for the opposing defense.

He's just so predictable, when the feet stop moving you know he's about to try a stupid pass that'll turn into a scoring chance against Price. Give him Suzuki's awareness and he probably becomes Barzal imo.

I just don't see the room for Domi anymore. I don't like him as much at LW but don't think there's any question he ranks as the 4th centre right now. Some would argue Tatar is the expendable (older) LW, but I'd counter that at least Tatar can play the PP, I don't think Domi brings anything to the special units.
I think it's pretty clear that this team needs another shooter and there are too many playmakers. It says it all that their go to guys for scoring in these series-- or attempting to score on the PP -- are two defensemen and the two youngest players.
I guess there's the option of hoping for Caufield to deliver in the future, but it doesn't immediately address the issue at the beginning of next season...
