I think before the bruins acquired kase, that deal would have been exactly what they wanted. Now all of a sudden with Studnicka showing as a viable option at wing, the bruins have an abundance of wingers.

As for the Calgary deal, its a typical deal of, “I don’t want to give up anything I don’t want to lose, so here’s a whole bunch of stuff I don’t care about!”

If the 2020 1st is not enough I don’t even bother. The financial landscape of the league is changing. Teams have no money and most of them want other people to take their bad contracts. When nobody will do that they have to buy them out, then there are plenty of reasonably good players available who will take less than you would expect because that’s what teams will offer.
