It’s so beautiful to be able to say that is not enough for Lafreniere. Rangers need a top 6 C, a top 4 LHD, and possibly a solid winger.
Suzuki, Caufield, the 1st rounder and Romanov if he’s the top LHD prospect or top 2 LHD prospect that MTL has. Has to be an overpay for a potential generational prospect.

This is way to much Lafreniere can not accomplish what these 3 players can do. No deal.

Prends needs NHL players at this time to bring them back at the top. They are still a top team in the league just needs to adjust their roster.

And that’s the point. You are not getting Lafreniere without a serious over pay. Rangers need a legit 2C. To move down via trade out of the top 10, they need too much to make the deal worth it.

The last thing the Preds need is to sign more 30 year old players to long term contracts. They desperately need to add to their prospect pool and will get a very good player at 11OA.

Sure. But they could also sign a similar player in free agency and not give up 11OA. I wouldn't mind Tatar, but I dont see any scenario where NSH trades 11OA - especially for a 30 year old player.

Edit: Poile has talked about getting younger a lot this off-season, so I don't see a deal like this happening.
