can i ask what the point of this was?

I feel like the Leafs are missing a Kreider type on offence and Samberg is a big young Dman. If you're able to get Phil Myers from Philly for Nylander, thats also an option.

As a Rangers fan I wouldn't mind swapping Muzzin for Kreider

however, i feel muzzin has more value than that. especially because muzzin is probably more important to

The Jets have no need for Nylander, so they're not going to give up a young defenseman that they do need, a young player and a pick for him.

Philly definitely doesn't do that. Niskanen is not the player they should be shipping out to clear some cao and Holl is a considerable downgrade

You could also try to get Tkachuk from the Sens. Teams are lining up to get rid of their good young players for pieces they don’t need.

Also, either Holl is worse and you send an extra asset or Holl is equal and you ship the deal. The idea that the difference between the guy playing top pair minutes for us and a guy with less than 82 games NHL experience is moving up one round of the draft seems weird and wrong.

I would do this if I am the Rangers, I just don't see the desire for Toronto. More specifically, for years Toronto has suffered from being **** on the back end. Sure, they would like a Chris Kreider..every team would, but they end up with a glaring hole again on the back end.

Not successfully at the NHL level, other than as an injury replacement here and there.
