exact same sentiments. roster looks very good. im just a little hesitant to have jumbo at 3c, id rather have him as 4c out of caution.

Guys we rather keep Domi than drafting someone between 28-31. If the pick is around 12ish, it’s more tempting. Hopefully he didn’t had a good second year because he knew he was playing for a big contract. I rather keep him and hopefully he do another 70 points season.

I'd say it's either Jumbo at 3C, or he walks. Only reason I say that is cause I think we'd rather have guys like True/Handemark/Gambrell/Letunov/Kellman/Gregorget in minutes at 4C to develop than have Jumbo block their path to the NHL. Also Jumbo is too fragile (no offense to him) to be playing that 4th line grinding style of hockey in my opinion.

We'd throw in one of those seconds probably haha That's a good point tho what Habs would want for him. he was traded for galchenyuk and probably wouldnt be finding a star in high 20's with tampa first rounder. Also Habs have so many picks they may not want more, rather get a roster player in any Domi trade. Would be more than happy to include Vlasic!

Always interesting to hear another prospective from acquiring team, that's what makes doing a legit roster so difficult. Some of these rosters people make are jokes not considering the other team. Saw a few where Toronto trading Andersen to Sharks. WUT

I would do a Domi vs Brodin or Domi vs Orlov Maybe Domi vs Hanifin but no late round pick +

I think the 3 players you just mentionned are very good targets but everysingle one is more valuable than Domi, we would have to had. That said, the idea is good and trading Domi for picks and bottom 6 players is the worst thing that we could do base on the GM plan, where we are as an organization right now and fans desire/attempts.

I know Shark fans probably wouldn't do it but would you take Labanc and the 1st? It may not be the best offer on our board but at least it'd be closer value. Let's for now be in a world where Domi wants out and he's not coming back, would that be good enough?

Counter at the same level of ridiculous that you proposed:

Domi for Timo Meier, Kevin Labanc, 2020 1st.

That's some NHL20 trade logic right there yikes.

Agree with GMs - Habs can probably get better value for Domi than a mid 20 pick + fringe prospect. Trade him for for a young dman like a hanifan or someone like that. Sure sounds like Domi will be gone tho. He wants to play center and doesn't sound like there is a fit in Montreal. Plus hes coming off a down year. Sharks would love him, but Doug would balk at any deal involving Timo.

Labanc doesn’t bring seize, but Merkley could be interesting to replace Weber or Petry in 3-4 years, but is attitude is a problem. But Domi vs Labanc + Merkley straight up I’ll do it

If Sharks are going to package Labanc, Merkley, and 1st would have to think they can do better than Domi...
