I think this would be a terrible trade for Montréal. Giving up Caufield alone would be absolutely crazy. If im Detroit, i absolutely take this offer but it's just very unrealistic.

Contract wise though you are spot on.

Ducks decline. Rebuilding team doesn’t need Tatar. It’s been said ducks are getting younger and faster. Also ducks have far too many left handed D men.
