I don't get the whole "Hornqvist to the Ducks" trade that keeps happening on here? It absolutely screws the Ducks when it comes to filling their #1 hole...a top 4 RD, of which there are multiple guys that they go target in free agency (or via trade).

Anderson, 5th for McCann, 3rd

What is Anderson's injury status? Is he broken or is it fixed?

If fixed... flip the picks. McCann > Anderson so Pittsburgh should get the better pick

You want to pay an aging Tanev how much on how long a contract???? He hasn't been good since 2015. That is a horrible deal.

No one wants Bjustad, somehow every Pittsburgh AGM has him going to Buffalo. Gee I wonder I why. Oh wait, I figured it out, because he is a big cap dump and Buffalo has space.

Minnesota hangs up.

Out of their two goalies, they will keep the cheaper one in Stalock. Minnesota likes Foligno. You also want them to give up a 2nd round pick? What they get in return? A terrible contract, a goalie who looks like he lost it, and a worse pick.

if anderson is "fixed" then he is much better than McCann. Anderson put up 27 goals playing mostly with Jenner and Foligno, who suck, last season. While also having a strong 2 way physical game

I think some of the Pittsburgh people are also forgetting that Botterill is no longer here so no more weekly calls over to his old friends...

We really don't want to do a winger swap for Andy. That doesn't benefit the Jackets; we've got a ton of depth wingers already. Having a healthy Andy (who stands out as a power forward) does.

Because the Pens need Cap space, and their fans think they can unload ****ty contracts and receive assets fro them.
