I can tell you already Columbus won't do that. The organization is very high on Foudy (rightfully so, in my opinion), and he's got two years left on his ELC in a flat cap situation. No chance he gets moved for anything other than a deal for the tippy-top talent tier in the league.

Grant McCagg ( ex scout of MTL ) said there is no chance MTL is interested in Mike Hoffman so we can stop the rumors right now... I did a post recently signing Hoffman I will delete since it doesn’t look realistic

Well, the first step would be to take out Mete as we're massively overstrength at LD to the point that I'm not sure if he'd get NHL playing time. Beyond that, it depends on what needs of the Habs are trying to be met here.

We're a bit short on those, so that's potentially awkward. Would Gabriel Carlsson do? He's admittedly been bypassed on our depth chart, but that's more about guys at LD being better overall rather than him being bad per se.

What the actual fock is that Canucks trade. Also it would be better for the habs to not spend money on a forward and get a defender like a TJ Brodie or something

Yes he would score goals on the PP, but he is bad defensively + had problems in the locker room before.

Sorry.... Foudy is off the table. Columbus really doesn’t need or want Mete. Domi would be a good add to Columbus but I don’t see Columbus having the pieces or giving up the pieces to make that trade that Montreal would want for Domi.

Better question is why do we want Benn back? He is slow and sucks only thing he adds is size which can be added through better trades.
