Gaudreau is still good guys. He still had a decent season and can potentially get 100 points. He isn’t worth 3rd liners or at best, 2nd liners. The other gaudreau to Boston trade is more accurate. Calgary hangs up and blocks Boston.

Any idea of what kind of RFA deal he gets, or are the pasty, 37 and marchant contracts so unreal it is like the Lindstrom rule on the wings, they can just lowball because their best players are underpaid?

I'd like to see them do a bridge deal. Gives DeBrusk a chance to potentially pot a few 30 goal seasons and that will mean a bigger payday. It also is around the time Boston has some big contracts coming off the books.

There’s this other dude in the trade named Matt Grzelcyk....and you’re seriously underestimating him. Grz is extremely valuable to the Bs, I figured he’s be pretty valuable to the Flames, too.
