Jack Eichel is simply one of those players you do not trade. Especially in the division for god sake. The last thing Buffalo needs is for him to beat the crap out of them multiple times a year for the next decade.

Value is fine, but the bruins wouldn’t do this.

Mcavoy is not Bobby Orr. Jack Eichel probably is the best offensive player to wear Sabres uniform since Pat LaFontaine. In terms of significance to the history of the franchise only Dominik Hasek and LaFontaine are still bigger.

Value means nothing. Eichel doesn’t get traded for fair value. Anybody attempting to get him will have to overpay, and the Sabres probably still wouldn’t do it anyway

Trash talk about the city usually comes from people who have never been there even once. Even if you had you probably did not see any of the things that make a great place to live. But I’ve never been to Boston either.

I’ve been. Multiple times. You might be able to have fun for 48 hours there. Wings are good. Beef on weck is good.

Food is one of the best things about living here. People from outside the area really don’t know unless they know someone who lives here. There are some somewhat well kept secrets, places people go that tourists don’t.
