Where did this idea of a 1st/Johnsson/Liljegren for Parayko come from? I'm seeing it everywhere now. Blues will say no twice and hang up on the Leafs if this is the offer.

A package for Parayko includes Nylander.

Carolina pass, big time. Martinook is way more valuable for a team that needs depth scoring than a goaltender who's strength was their goaltending.

Parayko is a big piece from STL and TOR would have to give up a big piece in return.

Still doesnt justify the below market value offer posted above.
If STL wants cap space they certainly dont take back a player like Johansson who was paid a kings ransom for one breakout year

IF STL wants to keep Pietrangelo then yes they will be forced to take less than market value to make space. Not to say the above trade is good/bad but when you are forced to move a player you almost never get full market value back.

Tarasenko is expected to be back just after the season starts and they can't put him on LTR until it starts and need to be cap compliant before they can put him on

As team drop out because they either don't need, cant afford, dont want to take on salary or don;t want to offer what is being asked it typically comes down to a few teams and yes they will take the best offer but when all the teams know you need to move him the best offer probably will not be equal to his actual value.

For the love of everything good and right, please offer a real package for Parayko. This rumour is VERY fishy. Blundell is not reliable. Offer at LEAST

This Johnsson liljegren 15th package will not get Parayko. and if he costs more than I offered , I really don’t want him. I’d rather get s good prospect with 15th OA and keep liljegren.
