It's with the assumption that they make some other moves to clear cap (Killorn, Johnson, or whatever it may be)-- I think they'd value Jarnkrok at his cap hit and versatility. If needed, NSH could even retain a little. Getting what Jarnkrok does at potentially less than $2m would be appealing to them I think.

Good trade for the Preds and the Leafs. Preds get reliable 3rd pairing D-Man and Leafs add some toughness.

He plays well with Muzzin and the two were our best defensive pair of the playoffs. They are our only working defensive pairing. I highly doubt they make that trade. That's the problem with "toughness" people. They are all, "TRADE MATTHEWS FOR THAT 30-YEAR-OLD 4TH LINE WINGER, HE'S GOT TOUGHNESS."

It's funny that people think that the Pens will need to pay someone to take Bjugstad... yet Nashville is going to get a 3rd+ for Bonino.

Bonino's coming off one of his best season's ever. Bjugstad had his worst one and a major injury. These things affect a player's value.
