absolute blasphemy, I have been explicitly told by leafs nation that there is unequivocally no way that both Pietrangelo and Parayko can be retained by STL.

Yeah I figured that. I thought about the Blues taking Zajac, but he has the same contract as Steen, so it would be pointless in terms of cap.

The devils may take Steen for the first and even take allen but no way they send a 1st back for it.

Better yet ...are the ACGM's that (1) take Parayko off STL's hands "so that they can sign Pietrangelo" and also (2) sign Pietrangelo to their team.

Also, Steen unlikely to waive to join a team mid-rebuild.

But if he does, it would be in straight cap dump and release so he can resign (ala Marleau).
