i wouldnt mind Severson. Guy was very good on a bad devils team (no offense). His 2-way game is solid and according to SKATR he was 60% on the pp and pk. Plus at 25yrs old and 4.16 for 3 more seasons that aint bad.

to me its simple. Find a partner for Rielly. Rielly is not good defensively. Throughout his time with the leafs he has never had a good partner. Give him a defensive defenseman partner and we should see a massive shift on our blueline. We can worry about the depth later.
