Jackets reject. Domi is good but taking on Byron is just something we cannot do. Dubois needs to be signed plus Gavy that would handcuff us.

Just flip Byron lmao
It’s like you offering PLD for Allen and me saying no we don’t trust Lindgren

From the smallest wing team ever to the biggest... just curious, were you TRYING to put this team in cap hell or did it just sort of happen?

It’s not that simple to flip him. First you have to have a team that is interested. Byron is not going to be easy to flip. I would rather do the deal straight up Anderson for Domi if that were the case.

Hall 6'1 200, Killorn 6'1 200, Kovalchuk 6'3 220, Tuch 6'4 230, Anderson 6'3 225...

7 years for Hall who has stated he wouldn't mind signing for a 1-2 yr deal
7 years for an RFA who is coming off of a down year on a 1mil$ contract
7 years for an RFA with legitimate injury concerns coming off of a 1.85mil$ contract
don't even get me started on giving Kovalchuk 3.5mil$, not to mention TWO years

I appreciate the effort of you trying to make things fair tho, but can't see how this helps the franchise out long term at all...

Well your standard is pretty bad considering adding 7-8M of salary to Vegas who has no capspace is a rookie mistake.

Why would anyone trade Danault for Labanc? That's Corvette for Corolla.

Yup I know on paper you're right. But even the sharks fans apparently are uncomfortable about that trade even if it's 1 for 1.

Lol ya those definetly are legit perspectives. But I see the glass half full. The upside of these guys is IMO worth it, cause if it works out, paying 9.5 mill to Hall to get me 80 pts for 5 more yrs, JA posting 30-30/yr at 5.5, Labanc 20-40 at 5, are all a damn steal. We finally have legit centers, and I believe they along with those wingers I acquired can all benefit from each other.

It doesn't makes sense to me for Hall to take short term. He should want the guaranteed big money.

And ya the size of the new wingers was premeditated. Tired of having smurfs.
