Those guys are Leafs fans who have little to no hockey knowledge about outside teams. I wouldnt listen to their opinion on any team except the Leafs if I was you

I'm not doubting he has top 4 potential, but there's no way he'd kick Weber/Petry out of the top 4 any time soon, and we have an abundance of young defensemen that are gonna be fighting to fill that spot already.

His numbers weren't great this year. They were kinda bad actually.

Edmonton is just a team without a single D man worthy of a top pairing so many he looks good in comparison.
