This strikes me as an overpay for a 35 year old goalie on a $7 million/year contract, especially when Vegas is in a cap crunch regardless of their goalie situation. You give up a young roster player, first round pick, and much cheaper replacement goalie who is younger and has good stats as a starter.
Also I doubt Barrie goes back, the latest I have heard from reporters is that Colorado were actually thrilled to be able to trade him away and get the return they did. Plus if he does come back, it won't be on the top pair, on his off-side, with a partner who won't cover for his defensive deficiencies.
Also Burakovsky is an RFA and is more likely to be brought back than Namestikov
