This team is worst than right now.
Not enough money for Hall to sign in Canada.
Buffalo isn't giving away their 1st for Armia.

I can't wait for buffalo to trade a first to re-acquire a guy they drafted in the 1st and didn't pan out until AFTER he was gone.

Far too much from Winnipeg for a 33 year old defenseman and a rental LHD. I doubt Winnipeg has any interest at that price. They'd be better off using those assets to go after a younger defenseman.

The Wild would trade Brodin OR Dumba if they were getting a top 6 center, not both. They have zero use for Tatar, even if he's a good player. They have plenty of wings, they'd want centers coming back in any deals.

Petry > Brodin
Danault + Tatar > Hall
Dumba => Chiarot

I don't agree with the Petry and Chiarot evaluations but I understand that's your opinion. As far as Danault + Tatar > Hall goes, IF Danault was to continue to play 1C or 2C then yes together they are worth more than Hall. However, I believe that Suzuki will be 1C and KK 2C so Danault at 3C will only put up between 30-40 points just because he will be saddled with 2 of Armia, Lehkonen, Byron or Weal just like Kotkaniemi has been since his rookie season. Therefore 30ish point Danault + 50-60 point Tatar =< 80+ point Hall. Don't get me wrong I love both Danault and Tatar and would love for Danault to sign long term to play 3C but I feel like if he is played that far down the lineup he will leave at the end of next season.
