Barkov trade needs some work. Florida doesn’t need any good players, they just need bodies to fill the seats. So maybe an entire AHL roster for him, a few ECHLers for the upper deck.

Or just offer Zib+Kakko and call it day.

I'm not sure it's worth acquiring both Barkov and Cirelli when one of them is just going to be your third line center. Go hard for one to play behind Mika and then reallocate those assets/cap space to get a better LHD (but not Vince Dunn)

If Florida trades Barkov it's gonna be for futures not roster players like Strome or ADA. At least 2 of Lundkvist, Miller, Kakko, Kravtsov, or Lafreniere would have to be involved, plus Georgiev and the CAR 2020 1st and then you could add a couple periphery pieces (Chytil/Hajek/Jones/2nds kinda tier)

"off ice issue" lmfao... there is a lot of NHL players with "off ice issues" fyi. his defensive game isnt great but generally players who " legit no defensive skills" arent a career +61. generally terrible defensive players are negatives..... BUT solid hot takes smile

I’d do a deal around deangelo and strome for him but we’re not giving futures aka nils for him

yeah Strome sucks and Deangelo is worse at defense than Kuzy and hes an actual defenseman.... you dont get high end talent by trading 2 good/average players. either trade high end for high end or solid futures

could do Trouba + Carolina 1st or A level prospect/young good roster player

Was a great c, still good yet it's all downhill from here, even if it's slowly, no thanks. Especially NYR, we cannot throw all of our eggs and cap into an old basket obviously.

I can’t wait for him to score 80 this year so this entire site so finally shutup about him having a down year. The perception of him on here is laughable. Guy is a 70-80 point center lol. “Was a great center he good noW.”

I guess Ehlers Landeskog Hall Lindholm Boeser .... all are just “good” now lol
