I think the BOS trade is not terrible....but needs work. Both clubs don’t have the prospects to swing major trades, so both would be dealing from the roster. Nylander for Carlo and pick/prospect sounds about even (but other than Studnicka, I don’t think BOS has the ammo for even that deal...so it would likely be pick AND prospect).

The 5-for-1 pick EDM trade isn’t realistic. If just dumping players, more likely to grab a few mid-round picks.

As a Bruins fan, want to note a couple things after reading this post.

1. Bruins dont even consider the deal. Silkysmooth is right, they only trade Carlo if they get a good top6 guy in return at a similar age.
2. Parayko is better than Carlo, not sure if theres any debate there. Carlos great, Parayko is just better
3. Kuhlman is a really solid player, but he MAYBE becomes a 45 point second liner. And thats probably being generous. Love the way he plays and he can create a ton of chances with his speed. More likely a 10-15 goal, 35 point solid defensive 3rd liner. But he definetly has value.
