Danault doesn't get you the 9th overall pick.

The Wild can draft a player way better than Danault at #9 overall.

It could take lundell 6 years to be as good as Danault is now. Danault will climb for another 2-3 and than be back to where he is now In 6 years so I don’t think you can bank on a player being way better than Danault at #9 but you could be right

Statistically it's pretty easy to find a player better than Danault at 9.

Maybe...You could always trade Dumba to WPG for their 1st and use that to draft another C and have Danault as insurance..

No thanks. Would rather trade Dumba to Jets for 10th overall and keep the 9th overall. Danault is a very overrated player who's looking to be overpaid soon. Montreal can keep their 3C.

I had to go back to 2016 to find a player drafted in the #9 spot as good or better than Danault is now and that proves my point. It will take lundell 6 years to be as good as Danault is now

You had to go back three drafts, wow, crazy how the three most recent drafts where the picks are still developing weren't better yet.

Exactly. They take time to develop. Do I need to write it out again for you. It will take lundell 6 years to be as good as Danault is now

So basically, it's Danault, Domi, Tatar, Petry, Ylönen, Lehkonen, Kulak, Byron and a 1st for Meier and Hertl.

    Seems legit.
