Yeah he has been one of the best goalies in the league the last 2 years and has a decent cap hit.

How do you make a 2020 pick conditional on a 2021 outcome?

Also, for Palmieri, it likely would include a young player. Bean, Bokk...not all picks.

Id do Nino Bean and a 2nd, but I thought NJ would want a first for Palmieri

I think add a Bean or Bokk, make it this years 1st instead of next years, and keep the other picks.

NYR are not selling low on Georgiev. i think he's available if a team makes a "blow me away" offer, but they aren't trading him for a package of low picks

I don't think he's available. They've already made the decision internally to buyout Lundqvist.

Yeah, I guess, but not really. The cap space from Lundqvist is what's really needed.

Can still be conditional on outcomes like games played, goals, playoffs, etc....just not conditional on contract extensions.

I really don’t see 1 year of palmieri being worth nino, 13, and a top prospect that’s a pretty heavy premium

I think he is worth it, but point was more that NJD is looking for young players more than picks.
