Description
WIN: I know the WIN trade prob doesn't match value wise. I just wanted to take a different approach and see how close I am. I'm guessing add another second rounder and d prospect.

EDM: Jesse i don't think will play for the Oliers. I believe he'd be open to playing with Aho, given he works his way up the lineup. Bean is ready right now but we don't have room unless we move Gards or Brady.

CHI: If they don't resign Crawford they're really gonna be in a pickle and either way Optimism Reim should be on their radar.

DAL: No need for Bishop as they have Dobby and an up and coming stud in Oettinger

ARI: With the trade of Pesce they need a defensive minded D and they get one in Demers who only has one year left. With ARI wanting to trim cap this should help them in doing so.

I know I'm dreaming here and this will never happen. Pls don't roast my ass for this lol. Some constructive criticism would be awesome.

Lebrun has already said if Carolina are trading Pesce for a winger, they will not be adding. He actually said it about Laine a few weeks back

I am ok with most of the moves value wise. The issue I see is that necas is not ready to play center imo. I also think I’d rather move trocheck instead of staal in the jets deal. I think staal provides a defensive game that can not be replaced

We can’t afford Niederreiter next year.

I posted what the value for Bishop was about a week ago and a lot of people said a second rnd is the highest anyone should pay because of his injury history.

Staal is too old to consider as a main piece for Laine.

Yeah I was really torn to trade staal but he really disappointed me in the playoffs this year. He is by far and away our best defensive forward but he just hasn't produced like I expected him to. I agree with the necas take. I think if he comes to camp beefed up from last year I wouldn't mind seeing him down the middle and see where he's at.

Bishop is a risky move with his deal length. Maybe they took Nino in the deal, sure.

Staal isnt going anywhere and Pesce should be retained. Laine is the type of player you trade when trading for Laine. You need more Pesce's with Laine on your team, not less. With that top line we would have to put Slavin and Pesce back together and hope for the best. That top line would get murdered in the NHL. They got away with alot in the youth tourney because they were playing against other youth. NHL players would massacre that unit on offense and defense.

Jordan staal’s role just isn’t to produce points. If we get 40 points out of him it’s a bonus. It’s not like he plays with big time scoring players. If the canes add too end forwards it would trickle down to the third line however.
