You must not like Ottawa much because Sanderson does not belong in the top 15.

Oh he does. He doesn’t get the credit he deserves. He’s a top 13 prospect in this draft for sure. I think he could be a better pick for Ottawa than Drysdale.

He didn't start moving up the rankings until after hockey had been shut down for a couple of weeks. How does that work?

Seider didn’t move up as high as he was until a few weeks before the draft.

Do you know who scouted Seider?

I don’t know what you’re trying to get at, but I’m just saying that players are able to move up/down rankings after the games are all finished, whether that’s because of word reaching more mouths, people watching more video, interviews with the prospects, or anything else.

So just because Sanderson started moving up recently doesn’t mean he doesn’t deserve to be ranked high.

Totally not what I was saying. What I'm saying is there are at least 15 players better than him in the draft and the biggest reason he jumped is because he is a defenseman. Now he is the 2nd best defenseman in the draft. Now in the first 15 picks only one team is going to take a defenseman? Unlikely and most of the mock drafts we see online, on tv and in the news are going for accuracy and not based on talent alone. From the time Yzerman stepped aside for BriseBois to take over as TB's GM until the end of the season Yzerman spent most of that time scouting. Because he was still under contract with TB. Now the jury is still out on Seider he hasn't played an NHL game yet.

Sanderson is the highest ceiling d-man in this draft....by a lot.

Checks all the boxes for what scouts look for in #1 d-man. He is absolutely explosive.

If he had played with Hughes, Zegras, Caufield, etc....he would check those boxes for statwatchers too.

Correct. This is an opinion: "Sanderson is the highest ceiling d-man in this draft....by a lot."

This is also an opinion: "Sanderson does not belong in the top 15."

Carry on.
