Detroit isn't taking Neal and that contract for free, its gonna cost you. Id imagine hill being the backup in arizona after they move raanta or keumper this offseason.

Leafs have no need for jones or koskinen. I think they take that deal if they can flip both players.

You can keep Neal or heavily compensate us for taking on his contract. He's still a decent player but nowhere near worth 5.75 for 3 more years.

Detroit, Ottawa and Arizona decline (especially Detroit) but I think the Toronto trade is fair value. I would rather keep Koskinen and Jones though.

Detroit will have no problem hitting the cap floor of 61.5M. We have to sign Mo and Bert and just got 5.7M from Staal. We’re already going to be millions over the floor so we aren’t taking your cap dump for free.

Yeah like a guy for 1 year maybe at whatever that may be but not 3 years of a bad contract. There are better options if we just have to reach a cap number. Besides resigning mantha and bert is getting us over the floor easy enough.
