If you think i am undervalued on a signing or two, holl can be moved out to make space and promote liljegren. Other than that, I think that this team could compete for it next year.

maybe, but it gets us what we want. Also, if I went any lower, they would cry that I was underpayment... you can never seem to have everyone say, that's a fair trade

So you don't want to upgrade considerably in next and add 20-30 goals next year on the left side.. think again

His numbers are pretty good aside from last year. I think paired with Muzzen, thwy would be a great shutdown pair. Big upgrade on Holl and look how good Muz made him look

Not sure why I keep see Georgiev as the Leafs No. 1 in every 3rd Leafs ACGM I see. Is it not pretty well a given they buyout Hank?

Speaking of buying out, that Tanev deal gets bought out in 2 years when he continues to decline/get hurt.

Edit: also Anderson is worth a fair amount to trade for, but he's going to take a paycut after that? Kind of weird.

Signing Tanev is a horrible idea. He gets hurt too much and he's on the decline.

At that price yeah it's a huge mistake but if he doesn't get a big contract from Vancouver. I bet he will be okay with a shorter term deal for 1 or 2 years to ride out the economic downturn.
