Not much better for the leafs. Larsson can stay and be a reminder about trading to fill holes with young talent. Leafs would not be giving up a 2nd in that trade.

Oilers won’t be moving jp without playing for the team again. Moving larsson I can’t see being much of an option since klef will be on LTIR. That entire thought of a top four d getting moved I think is thrown out the window now. Unfortunately I really liked the idea floating around nurse for debrusk.

I do question the thought process of Johnsson on top line. His career high is an average year for Neal.... Leaf fans can pretty him up all they want reality is he’s just a poor mans James Neal we already have the real deal so why. Lol

Kekolainen passed on pool-party for a reason.. and now he'll trade half of arguably the best, most cost efficient goalie tandem in the NHL for a guy he chose not to take who has an attitude.

Pool-party is still on the Oilers because nobody will pay market value for his potential.

Neal is a better goal scorer.
