Giving a first for Murray seems like a terrible idea to me. We should just sign Greiss instead and call it a day.

yeah I know you couls sign a goalie in free angency or even go for a guy like rask or kuemper, but like I said this trade only happens if dubnyk goes to sharks and you get a pretty good return from shark the 31 OA is amazing for dubnyk and donato

I am very skeptical of them signing a RD at this point.
Maniscalco is gonna get ice time. They will chase a RD later if they have to.

I think this is the underlying thing they are looking at. He's a good player. They know what they got in him.
The questions left are what do they do with that 3rd line and the 3C.

Murray will get a 1st at least. The question is, if they do get cap space to open. Who will they bring in to play 3C

With the Jarry signing Murray's trade value just went thud. Pitt can't keep him. There are 10 or so ufa goalies plus whichever goalies on the trade market. Probably eliminate the first 3 rounds when looking for compensation...

The Murray for a 1st thing isn’t going to happen, Pens just have no leverage with a Murray deal because of their cap, Murray’s recent performance, and the contract he will get. And as above posters have said, it’s not something Minnesota should be interested in.
