This would be great

Description
-Kyle Turris for Kris Russell strikes me as a great steal for Edmonton. Nashville is a small market team that is going to be cash-strapped. This trade enables them to get a 1.5m defenseman and lose $6m in cap for the next 4 years. Not sure how many draft picks would have to get thrown in to make it worth Edmonton's while though. Turris is right-shooting center who is okay in the face-off circle and not horrendous defensively. Brutal contract, but at least the player ticks off some boxes for the team.

-It would be great to trade AA for a modestly priced goalie like Grubauer. Doesn't have to be him though.

-Yes, I know everyone is going to say that Dadonov would never take a pay cut. But everyone also lit up my comment section telling me that Derick Brassard would NEVER sign for the 3 or 3.5m I had him at (signed for 1.2m). There are a lot of elite level LW on the trade market this year, so I am betting Dadonov will not get what Florida was paying him. Pretty sure I am going to be right on this one.

-Not sure we could re-sign Gustafson at 1.75m, but that would be a great temporary replacement for Klefbom if he goes on LTIR, no? It's a crazy year, so just maaayyybe right?!

I think your about 3 mill short on Dadonov.
I know you called brassard but this is a different situation. Derek had an awful year and needed a chance/ redemption contract.
Dad had a solid season and is most likely looking to cash in.
But I could be wrong.

Not for the Habs. Chiasson gets a 5th at most

Ironically, he's worth waaaayy more to the team as a player than a trade chip. He's the net front guy on the league's best powerplay since the 1980s. Does the same job as James Neal, only way better and cheaper.

It's a terrible, ludicrous offer for Russell, but the part where an Edmonton fan called another team small market made me laugh.

This seems pretty good but I agree dadonov likely gets more at around $3.5M or $4M per season. Also I’d hope in any turris trade that they could get Nashville to retain about $2M cause that’s an awful contract

Sorry to burst your bubble dude. Nashville is worth much less money as a franchise than Edmonton. It is in way worse financial shape than the Oilers. It has way fewer fans.

Also, Nashville would not be trading for a player, which is the premise of your comment. It would be dumping salary cap for 4 years. In return, you get a 1 year contract for 1.5m.

No I read it, I just think AA isn’t worth much.
