Can't believe they didn't take Drysdale... they already have Chabot and Brannstrom on LD. Guess one of these big three LDs will have to play the right side.

There's a reason NHL coaches like their D to be on their natural sides, it has to do with proper defending. But Brannstrom can't do that anyhow...

Sens didn’t really have any good defensive dmen. Thomson is an offensive guy, Brannstrom and Chabot are more of offensive guys. Sanderson is heading to UND to play with JBD a program Dorion loves and they’ve said he really doesn’t get beaten defensively

Only 34 defensemen eclipsed the 23 minute mark last season, meaning that almost half of all 1st pairing guys didn't even play 23 minutes. And if he's not getting much PP time, hitting 23 is doubtful at all.
