I think I’d this team can add Hanifin and Saad, they’ll be awesome

Hanifin is by all means the guy I want on the left side. Personally, I'm not huge on Saad, but if we move DeBrusk another LW would be needed, like Saad. I went with Toffoli as the Bruins just need goal scoring and since Sweeney said that they are going to be looking to add to the right side.

Even then does DeBrusk even have a place on Calgary's roster slower left handed winger.

Again, this is for fun. Ideally I wouldn't want to move DeBrusk, but you have to give up to gain. I'd rather move picks and prospects for Hanifin.

I think it is very close to 100% that Vaakainanen will either be in the lineup, or traded. I do not think there is any scenario where Studnicka isn’t in the lineup.

Either him or Zboril is gonna go. I'd rather move some prospects for established players and go all in for one last shot at the cup and then rebuild from the bottom.

yes you move tkachuk to the right side and Debrusk becomes 2nd/3rd line winger depending on who meshes more mangiapane or debrusk. I say debrusk plus more as a start for Hanifin

Again DeBrusk has a really subpar footspeed, I have no issue keeping Chucky on the right side again but you can't have him play with other slow players. That's why he and Monahan don't mesh well

if this is the only move CGY makes then the lines in Calgary look like this.

      Gaudreau - Monahan - Lindholm
      Tkachuk - Backlund - Mangiapane
      Debrusk - Bennett - Dube
      Lucic - Ryan - xxxxxxxx

Have you watched him play? I wouldn’t say Debrusk has “really subpar foot speed” at all I actually think a strength of his is his ability to chip and chase around defenders... If you think he’s slow I’m not even sure what you think his strengths are... inconsistent, streaky sure, but slow? Haven’t heard or seen that from JDB

huh? Id argue his speed is the best part of his game
