Description

Acciari is the type of #3 C I think they should be focusing on.
Cernak is a big right side dman. Tampa gets futures for cap reasons (I think Tampa only does this if they think they will lose Cernak to Offer Sheet)
Holl to anyone for futures (I like Holl, but Cernak replaces him)

Thoughts?

If Weegar is available, I would rather have him. But I like this move. I just think TB will make it work some how. They always get their RFAs to bridge.

Cernak is HUGE. Not sure much about him other than he is RHD, Young and huge. I assume he uses his body more than Holl but I could be wrong. If anyone has a scouting report on him, I would love to know.

Ya Weegar and Acciari are 2 guys I want from Florida. I can definitely see a trade with Florida for one or both of those guys.

High faceoff %. Hits a lot. Thick. 20 goals last year was an anomaly. But 10-12 possible with 30 pts. It is exactly what the Leafs would need from that spot.

He's never had a faceoff% above 50. Sure, hits a fair amount. Before this past season which was an anomaly, he'd hit 10 goals once and had never been on pace for more than 20 points. Not a 3C.

I think Mikheyev can get 1.75 mill, especially if it goes to arbitration. Dermott gets 1.5 mill on a two year deal imo

Agreed. On a 1 year that is.
I think soup gets 1x1, 2x 1.5m, 3x2, 4 x 2.25. Something on those lines. Depends on Toronto's Cap.
Dermott gets 874k-1m x1, 2x1.25 (2x1.5 max). I don't see him getting longer term with the Leafs right now.

Hmmm I though he had like A 54%ISH faceoff win rate this year. I just double checked and it was only 48% during the regular season. You are correct. My bad.
