I'm even more excited for a Canadian division than I'd usually be.

The habs look sick, Ottawa could be a sleeper team (like the leafs in 16-17), Calgary finally got a goalie, Vancouver is dangerous and on the upswing, Barrie is gonna win the norris playing for edmonton (because)

In 2 years yes. Now, if they make it in 2021, I'd be very shocked. All the other 6 atlantic teams are legit threats to make the playoffs. I seriously think the Bruins will miss. And the Sabres, they other 4 will make it, my really prediction. I really hope thought of a canadian division come to fruition. Of course, the same problem is there (6 teams that are possible playoff team).

wow, that is every Canadian hockey fans dream, I'd take MTL TOR and EDM for the top 3 with OTT WPG and VAN fighting for the wildcard. not sure why everyone is sleeping on the sens so hard.

In 2021-22, I'd be suprised if they DON'T make it.

I like being the underdog. We are getting a youth infusion with Stutzle, Batherson, Brown, Norris, Brannstrom and Wolanin. Plus I expect a big bounce back from Murray, he’s now in a position to lead a team and should be motivated

I think the key difference between Leafs in 16-17 and Sens now is at the C position. Matthews - Kadri - Bozak vs. Norris - Tierney - White - Brown is a big gap

We could see Sanderson, JBD and Pinto all 3 signing by the end of this year according to Dorion

They’re not done yet. Wouldn’t shock me if they traded for Cirelli

What about the flames? The sens are sleepers for a reason. The rookies there are likely not going to explode in one year, the sens still have a lot of prospects left to come up.

that'd be cool but at the same time it would likely be involving a 1st round pick and if I were OTT I wouldn't part with that just yet.

If that happens it will be extremely interesting. I’d say that 1st in the division would be wide open, I could see anyone but Ottawa in that spot. Not to mention how fun it would be to play other Canadian teams so often.

I think they could do it with a combo of Logan Brown and Lassi Thomson

the comparability to the Leafs in 16-17 is 100% accurate, we are now in a league where youth is not a disadvantage, granted experience is important. I could easily see them being .500 with the right coaching. Though an all Canadian division would be awesome, i want them all to make it Lol.

Oh, I don't disagree. But is that enough? All the other teams have players scoring 60 or more points.

i'm just not sold on CAL atm, Markstrom bolsters their roster a ton, but with all the other teams looking so deadly it's not going to be easy for ANY team, nothing against the flames and i'd love them to prove me wrong.

Ya, its a bad year for all canada because its the best the canadian teams have been probably since 93.

At this point, as much as I hate to say it, them being my 2nd and 3rd favourite teams, but WPG and CAL are both in position to decline next year if all canada comes along. Heck even the leafs.

It’s like saying do u prefer 3 guys who can score 30 goals or 6 guys who can score 20? If you have a ton of scoring options, could work also
