Oh I know, it’s a stupid move is all. JC isn’t an NHL coach and his ideas are meant for European rinks.

I think the best move is to fire Tomas Mitell and make Bowman President and hire a guy like Hextall as gm

I kinda looked at glass and strome as a wash of potential versus established stats. Strome is incredibly one dimensional but he does score and is established, while glass is a strong two way center who can score but is still green.

As for the rest of the trade, the players were sending them, in my opinion, are not of the same quality as theirs. Nylander is the only one of significant value because he’s 1st rounder and for whatever reason people just aren’t giving up on him. Roy and Hague are actually big, mobile, and great possession players that we desperately need. Then there’s fleury, and between the remaining players and taking fleury, a 2nd and 3rd is fair, especially given its New Jersey’s 2nd and Vancouver’s 3rd. I’d bet they’ll be earlier then Vegas my 2nd and 3rd.

I don’t want bowman to have any spot in this franchise. He’s ruined it enough.

l think that was their plan before Lehner got hurt. Now they're just starting MAF, so he's not a likely trade option.

All of these reasons are why this trade won’t happen

He was confirmed for shoulder surgery a few weeks ago.

Ah, didn't see that. Surgery? Or is he fine to play in another 3 months?

Yup, full surgery, guaranteed to not start the season.
