    Bruins decline.
Montreal doesn't need another goalie. Detroit just signed Namestnikov.

So quick to decline and yet I bet you said the same thing before acquiring Allen for 4.5! Hahahaha Mac would be sick for primeaus development and depth in case of an injury for them.

Why wound Bruins decline they get him for nothing and he’s solid depth for their weak and muffin of a blue line rn

Over the cap once you fill the roster. NHL teams don’t carry 18 skaters for a season.

Killorn is probably going to be the first one gone. Hard to see any scenario he stays with him only having a M-NTC.

Why should we not get an okay player for literally nothing? It's not like he's got some massive cap hit or anything.

    Montreal trade doesnt maken sense.
They are set with goalie and it would much better for them to hold on to Lindgren to have in the AHL.

    Wings just signed Namestnikov right?
    Dont see them trading him.

I dont think TJ is waving his full NTC to any team.

McElhinney would just take up games that Primeau would be playing, and he would block Demchenko. And more importantly, we’re tight to the cap and we aren’t taking on the extra $225K.

Detroit isn't trading Namestnikov at least not before the season starts. With all the signings Detroit made this off season Namestnikov is 1 of 3 to get a 2yr deal. You also have to consider Yzerman drafted him in TB and Yzerman also won 2 Cups with his uncle Vyacheslav Kozlov. Namestnikov does call Detroit his home spending the offseason in Michigan.

Canadiens have Allen as NHL backup. Primeau could get some games at NHL level and they also signed Demchenko who could be a backup AHLer or very good AHLer that could come up for some games just like Primeau. But with Allen and Primeau, they don't need McElhinney.

Coburn is a 3rd pair D and we have enough of these in Moore, Lauzon, Clifton. Bruins also need to take a look at Zboril and Vaakanainen and looks like they will. Coburn also has a $1.7M cap hit which is fine for a 6th D but Bruins need that little cap space if they would want a TOP4 D, not top6 D. That's what they need.
Moving Coburn also helps Tampa which is the last thing to do right now.
