A no from the Caps, we're set for forwards and need to keep our younger, cheaper defensemen like Siegenthaler. I also don't think 1 year of Palmieri is worth a 1st and two NHL level defensemen.

I actually chuckled. I like Palmieri, but it is one year. Also, he gets a lot of points on the PP but he will not be a top PP guy in Washington, so those points will fall.

Counter with Jensen, Panik, 1st for Palmier ($2.325 ret)
