Nothing immature. Just simple math. They can not afford their rfa’s. Whether or not there is any offersheets doesn’t change that fact.
If they want to move good players they will get small returns. If they want to move bad contracts they will get gouged.
The rfa’s won’t get offersheets. They will either be traded or sat if they refuse to move money elsewhere.
this right here...

Then they lose Rfa’s or give up their futures.
Is some sort of really immature argument.
Neither of which is true by the way. They don't need to do anything. No OS is probably coming, the players are going to sign a QO because they can't get arbitration unless they do, they aren't sitting.
Most likely they sign a low deal, then teams work out extensions with them.
Those guys most likely aren't getting traded. They open up a ton of cap next year. Especially if McD is sent to Seattle, That contract moved plus Coburn ending pays for Serg and Cernak along with parts of Cirelli. They have 1 contract to move and they can afford all 3. You look at a guy like Palat, He'll have 1 year left on his deal, fans back in the seats, that's an easy move and opens the space they need.
So stop with the nonsense.
They can easily afford all 3 at QO, offer then extensions in season and be done with it.
They probably have no interest in moving McD yet because they are most likely thinking 2nd cup run.
If they are going to "pay" to move guys, they will pay, next year after chasing a cup. Not this year.
