Value for Nylander is nearly spot on but I don't see us being a very good team long-term without Adam Fox.

It would be pretty funny when Dubas has trouble signing Fox the following year though wince he refuses to play for anyone but New York

Elias. Lindholm.

He's awesome. Fox is good but why would you want someone who doesn't want to be there?

Why would he trade Nylander for him if he didnt have agreement about re-signing there in first place?

Also we dont need Hamonic or to trade Brodie/Rielly.

Oh **** Sammy's back! Long time.

Anyways I agree, nearly all of these trades are bad for Toronto and what they are building. My point about Fox was out of experience since both Calgary and Carolina had major contract negotiation issues with him.

Oh I think a deal with different pieces could have bern made to get Lindholm and Hanifin.

My point on Fox though is that i dont like how selfish he was about the team he played for. If he wasnt so selfish Calgary would have one of the best young d-cores in the league moving forward (assuming Lindy and Hanifin are still acquired in a Dougie + trade)

I would've done the same as Fox personally but playing in Calgary would be sick. Not sure why he didn't stay. Carolina I understand tho lmfao

Carolina has become a very popular team recently and ina good way, they are also legitimate contenders. I do admit he would have struggled for a role in their d-core though. Baring injuries he would struggle to get past 3 RD there

I'm referring to living situations tho. All 3 teams are good organizations but playing Calgary, New York, Carolina are 3 very different places.

Sure but thats all opinionated. NY is extremely expensive compared to the other 2 for example but an extremelynice city. Calgary is cold but has things like Lake Louise in Banff.

I love Calgary. I wouldn't hesitate playing there. Carolina is just boring. There's nothing special there.

I don't think the Rangers trade him because he's too good, but is Fox going to quit hockey and sharpen skates at the Jericho public rink???

Yes so bad. Brodie is fine but wow what an overpayment. I wouldn’t trade soucy for him straight up - let alone add. The cap hit alone makes soucy a better option.

Minnesota just signed Soucy and Greenway. Leafs just signed Brodie. Even if the Wild would consider that trade (which they wouldn't, Brodie is not even near that value), there are zero reasons for either side to do it.
