Gee, I wonder what Kreider's NMC means. Sorry he's a Ranger for a long time.

Drouin sucks, And there's no freaking way Chris Kreider is waiving his NMC for Montreal, I just love how delusional people are on this site Kreider has a NMC for a reason and he's not waiving it.

In case you haven't noticed, players have waived it before. Definitely not this early but that's not what your referring to.

Means the organization didn't have a glass ball to predict getting a franchise LW in the draft and a global pandemic to effect monetary elements of their team. Everything is subject to change and I'm not sure he'd be to hellbent on staying in the Bottom 6 for the next 7 years.

We both weren't beating the Kings so I don't see what's to be upset about.

Yeah perhaps with 1 year left not 7 years left. He's not waiving especially for Montreal. At least when there was Kreider proposals to Nashville it made far more sense.

What does Kreider have against Montreal? If anything they shouldn't want him. Why does Nashville make sense?

Why would Montreal want a guy making $6.5 million for the next 7 years in a Covid world? Nashville makes more sense as they could use a winger like Kreiders ability far more then Montreal they still need to keep a spot open for Cole caufield they already have a bunch of long term wingers on the team.

Even if you ignore that, we’re not trading Drouin for someone who is 4 years older, on a considerably worse contract, and with less upside.

Makes sense. What do you see as a fair offer from NSH?

Less upside? Drouin has been sitting on his backside his whole career and Kreider is a presence.

Zero chance Kreider waives, not complicated. Maybe in a couple of years if the kids tank.
Kreider and Trouba are here for four more years. Both NTCs end in FOUR years, as opposed to 6-7 like people seem to ignore when they become MNTC.
Drouin aka Galch/Duke/Yak/Spoon/Prucha is the last thing we need.

Lol. Those are old tmz reports. Kreider is, unfortunately for us, one of the cleanest players in the league thats a known fact, even too soft. Obvious truth, that is also known, is he was tripped by Prices Dman Emelin...

That is what EVERY Rangers fan says, sure Emelin didn't help by taking him down but Kreider went in feet first on purpose. Don't even try and tell me that he didn't intend to go feet first that it was a fluke cause you can clearly see in the video him twist his body so as to go feet first. I am sure there are other teams that have similar stories on how Kreider is dirty as well.

I just mean that we know what Kreider is. Drouin has shown hints that he can be a better player than his career high of 53 points. (Which funnily enough is also Kreider’s career high)

not totally opposed to this but if they did move Kreider I think/hope it wouldn't be for another winger to compete for a top 6 roster spot. It's getting crowded with Panarin, Kredier, Laf, Kakko, and Buch (and potentially Kravtsov). if they found a longer term solution for 2C that would be neat
