Leafs will never trade Marner who is a franchise player.......were talking about a player whose jersey will be retired.

It’s a good package and gives them a lot of cap flexibility. I wouldn’t sign Hoffman though, might as well grab someone from vegas/Tampa with all that cap.

franchise player or not, you need to take off some cap if you wanna get a good defence and have a chance for the cup. Marner is the easiest to trade out of your 40mil offence quatuor

The Leafs would be foolish to trade Marner......he is the glue on a team......a teammate like know others on a team......not a chance the Leafs trade him.
