I like Skinner but I don't think Detroit takes that deal. Skinner for Bertuzzi 1 for 1 would be a hard sell let alone what you proposed

Don't think anyone would want to touch that Skinner contract right now, let alone give up multiple assets to acquire him.

Hutton is a dump. Elvis is worth more than a 2nd+3rd+5th. Quality > quantity.

You're probably better off eating the Okposo contract and saving the $3 mil cap difference than taking Subban. He's certainly still got a bit of upside, but I don't know that he'll ever get back to that point.

Panthers have Ekblad, Stralman, and added Nuti and Gudas on RD. They have zero reason to give up one of their top prospects in a trade for Montour.

You forgot to add in cozens, Samuelson, middlestadt, upl and Ryan johnson to the wings deal

As far as Skinner goes I think if you retained 3-4.5 Mil on his contract you could probably move him for a decent return (probably not a great return but decent, like A prospect + 2nd maybe)

thanks for all your suggestions fellas, much appreciated, i hate the skinner contract to, the thought process was, Bertuzzi is struggling just as much in Detroit and skinner is in buffalo, that could be one of the worst signings in sabres history, but he still has upside, he still has 50 goal potential, i feel like the change of scenery would do him wonders, i dont honestly think id wanna play beside a player like Eichel

I know the Wings are bad, but please let's not make them worse. That is one horrible deal for the Wings. Bertuzzi is younger cheaper and more online with the rebuild. Not only do we eat a bad contract we send picks back.

My God I just looked and Skinner 28 and making 9 million over the next 7 years.

He played with Lazar, Frolik, Asplund, Sheary, Sobotka, Vesey etc all horrible players. A career low shooting percentage and had a rib injury. He will most likely bounce back he also led the team in quality chances it wouldn’t surprise me if he scored 25 goals this year in 56 games.
