      I don’t think it makes sense for Islanders either , but I’d rather be wrong and have Parise wildly succeed than openly hope and root for his failure.

      Yeah I’m kind of being sarcastic , but at the same time the islanders deserve to fail if they trade for him.

      I’ve heard parise is stubborn and refuses to take a decreased role on the wild, so he’s going to end up either taking ice time from emerging top line winger beauvillier or lee who just signed a 7 year deal last summer. It’s a terrible fit.

      I don’t want Parise either, however I think you need to start using “the sarcasm font” when you root for Islanders to fail, deservedly or not
