Again, why would he want out and why would Wings want to trade him? You have not given anything but 3rd and 4th liners who will not be of any real use to Wings. Not one of those players will fill a 1st or 2nd line center position and you gave no picks to fill in that position.
Larkin is no superstar, but a very good player, playing for his home team, future captain and the face of the organization. While he is better suited to be a 2nd line center, he is the only true center Wings have that is NHL ready. Again giving pieces for a Larkin and not even including a pick is ludicrous.
Your assement that they should trade him as the rebuild will out last his current deal, is not really a fair or good arguement. This is the kind of thinking that keeps clubs in a constant rebuild mode. By that logic we should also trade Mantha, Bertuzzi, Mantha and Hronek and once Seider, Veleno, Raymond start trad ethem because the goal.line has moved even further out. It is a circle that a team will never reach because you are chasing a goal that will never be attainable.
