geee the penguins already have enough problems with a 3rd line, lets trade our best 3rd liner....that's a wise idea.

Yeah penguins want no part of this. They need to add a center not trade what little depth they have in their bottom 6.

mccan has potential to be an about 50 point scorer and juulsun has potential to be a good top 4 defence so both teams decline and keep devolaping them

He’s literally a bust. Pens give up by far the best piece in this deal. MTL has no need for McCann but in terms of value Pittsburgh gets fleeced

A) why would MTL give up a 2nd for a guy who would either be their 4th best centre or competing for 7-9th best winger

B) They cant afford the cap hit on the trade.

C) There are still guys like haula brassard etc on the market that could provide as much while costing nothing and have half the cap hit
