I’m not a Laine fan, and I think he’s overvalued here, but that’s not nearly enough even by my standards.

I probably take Dougie over PLD, who is also overvalued here, and until European (Bokk) players get over here, they’re tough to judge. Remove the picks, they don’t make a lot of sense.

The trades aren’t terrible, just not even, and a bit convoluted.

If Laine was to go Hamilton with extension would need to be what the jets want coming back. As for PLD for Hamilton. Really does not work well I agree as Columbus has no need for Hamilton

Why would Wings give up a 3rd so you can be under the cap?

I think this was just a case of someone using us as a dumping ground for formatting and meant "any team"... it'd be nice if they added a generic landing spot for these types of trades, as to not confuse the trade partner. I also don't understand why Detroit is used as the generic one people choose, as Anaheim is right at the top, haha

Rebuilding teams don't pay draft picks for cap dumps. Detroit passes.
Also, Detroit's roster is already pretty much set. No need for additional players that are marginal improvements at best.
